Why Work With Laura?
Therapy is a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and create meaningful change. I provide teletherapy for women and mothers using an integrative approach that brings together talk therapy, art therapy, and Somatic Experiencing®, along with other evidence-based approaches when appropriate.
A Somatic, Whole-Person Approach
We pay attention to both your mind and your body—not just the story you're telling. Somatic work can help you better understand how stress, anxiety, and past experiences show up in your nervous system and everyday life.
Trauma-Informed Care
Your experiences are understood within the context of your history, relationships, nervous system, and current life. We’ll work at a pace that feels safe and supportive while creating space for meaningful change.
Therapy Tailored to You
There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Together, we’ll identify what you want to work on and shape therapy around your needs, experiences, and goals. You’ll have an active role in guiding the process, and we’ll regularly check in on your progress along the way.
A Space Without Judgment
You don't need to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. My goal is to create a trusting, supportive space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing, explore what may be getting in your way, and begin to understand yourself in new ways.
We’ll start with a brief phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to work together, we’ll complete an initial assessment to better understand your history, needs, and goals, and then develop a therapeutic approach together.
